E1016-1601S is an Eaton Crouse-Hinds Cam-Lok J Series E1016 insulated male receptacle designed for industrial power distribution applications. This single-pole connector features a double cam principle for vibration-proof connections and is rated for continuous operation up to 400 amperes at 600 volts AC/DC. The receptacle accepts cable sizes from #6 AWG to 250 kcmil and includes a 1/2 inch-13 TPI threaded stud connection. The yellow-colored housing is constructed from thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) material and is suitable for direct mounting to steel panels with a NEMA 3R rating. Locked contacts withstand pulling forces up to 1000 pounds, and the cam design provides high-pressure contact approaching 600 PSI with minimal resistance.
