CP1K6G0050C is a passive harmonic filter designed for industrial applications to reduce harmonic distortion and improve power factor in variable frequency drive systems. This filter reduces total harmonic distortion to less than 5% and achieves power factor correction to over 95%, meeting IEEE 519 standards. The unit mitigates the non-linear current drawn by 6-pulse rectifiers that would otherwise distort the utility sine wave and cause inefficiency, overheating, and equipment misoperation.
