CP1K6G0037C is a passive harmonic filter designed for industrial variable frequency drive applications to reduce harmonic distortion and improve power factor performance.

This harmonic filter reduces total harmonic distortion (THDi) to less than 5% and achieves power factor correction to over 95%, meeting IEEE 519 standards. The filter mitigates the non-linear current drawn by 6-pulse rectifiers, preventing inefficiency, overheating of transformers and motors, and equipment misoperation. The low kVAr rating (limited to no more than 20% of filter kVA) ensures compatibility with both generator-fed and utility grid-fed systems without requiring load monitoring or capacitor disconnect contactors.
