CHICOX4 is a 2 oz fiber sealing compound designed by Crouse-Hinds for use in conduit sealing fittings and hubs.
This refractory ceramic fiber compound forms a dam between the integral bushing of the sealing fitting and the end of the conduit, packing easily around each conductor to restrict the passage of gases, vapors, or flames. It is ideal for hazardous area sealing applications and complements Crouse-Hinds sealing fittings.
