CHICO X4

CHICO X4 is a refractory ceramic fiber sealing compound used to form seals around electrical conductors in conduit fittings. CHICO X4 is a mineral wool fiber that packs easily around each conductor and between them, forming a dam inside sealing fittings to restrict the passage of gases, vapors, or flames. It is approved for use in Class I, Division 1, Groups A, B, C, D and Class II, Division 1, Groups E, F, G hazardous areas. The material is non-flammable with a melting point of 2100°F (1149°C) and is insoluble in water. Key Specifications
