C17G is a 1/2 inch PVC coated conduit body in a C-shape, Form 7 design, manufactured by Ocal for electrical conduit systems.This conduit body features a double coating with a nominal 0.002 inch blue urethane on both interior and exterior surfaces, followed by a minimum 0.040 inch PVC coating bonded to the exterior. It is made from gray iron alloy with a ferrous composition and includes stainless steel screws for durability. The flat back design provides increased cubic inch capacity and stability during installation, reducing the need for conduit straps. It is designed to provide access for conductor splices, taps, and maintenance, as well as to make 90° bends and branch conduit runs.
