BR280ST


BR280ST is an Eaton Type BR plug-on neutral circuit breaker designed specifically for residential and light-commercial load-center applications, with factory-installed shunt-trip capability for remote control or emergency switching. This 2-pole breaker is rated at 80 A, for use on 120/240 V AC systems, and features an interrupting capacity of 10 kA. It is constructed in the Type BR 1-inch proprietary plug-on form factor for direct mounting into compatible load-centers and panelboards. The suffix “ST” indicates the factory integrated shunt-trip accessory, allowing the breaker to be tripped remotely by a control circuit. Terminal wiring accommodates #8 through 1/0 AWG copper or aluminum. It includes a common-trip mechanism ensuring both poles open together, meeting necessary safety and code requirements.
