BJ48 is an Eaton Crouse-Hinds series XJG bonding jumper designed for use with conduit expansion couplings in rigid and IMC conduit systems. This redundant bonding jumper provides visible indication of bonding and is used with XJG conduit expansion joints to maintain electrical continuity across expansion couplings that permit linear movement caused by thermal expansion and contraction. The product is UL Listed (UL File No. E23223) and rated for Class I, Div 2 hazardous locations. It accommodates up to 8 inches of maximum conduit movement and is suitable for indoor or outdoor installation in long conduit runs to prevent damage to conduit supports and electrical systems in buildings and bridges.
