AJT8 is a Mersen 8 Amp, 600 Volt AC Class J time delay fuse with SmartSpot visual blown fuse indicator.This AJT8 fuse from Mersen's Amp-Trap 2000 series offers advanced current limiting and time-delay characteristics ideal for motor starting and transformer inrush protection. It features a cartridge mounting type, UL Class J rating, and is UL listed to standard 248-8 with a 200,000 AIC interrupt rating at AC and 100,000 AIC at DC. The fuse is also CSA certified and IEC 269-2-1 compliant, providing IEC Type 2 no damage protection for main, feeder, and branch circuits. Its compact size requires half the mounting space of comparable Class RK fuses.
