AJT40 is a 40 Amp, 600 Volt AC Class J time-delay fuse by Ferraz Shawmut Mersen designed for motor and transformer circuit protection.This AJT40 fuse features a SmartSpot visual blown fuse indicator, extremely current-limiting characteristics, and a 200,000 AIC AC interrupt rating (100,000 AIC DC). It is UL listed to standard 248-8, CSA certified, and IEC 269-2-1 compliant. The fuse has a fiberglass body for durability, metal embossed date and catalog number for traceability, and is recommended for arc flash energy reduction. Its compact size allows for economical mounting and easy replacement with unique Class J dimensions.
