AFA20


AFA20 is a Crouse-Hinds explosionproof conveyor belt alignment switch designed for reliable operation in hazardous environments. This switch features a double end design with a roller style operating arm and is built for safe and effective emergency or normal stop control of conveyor belts. The AFA20 switch is constructed with a Feraloy iron alloy enclosure for durability and resistance to harsh industrial conditions. It is suitable for use in steel mills, mining, ore and coal handling, automotive assembly lines, warehouses, loading docks, and grain handling operations. The switch provides two normally open contacts and is engineered to automatically reset when belt interference is removed. The operating arm features a stainless steel protective roller and allows for approximately 3/4 inch lateral movement to actuate the switch.
