AC5A is Appleton's Kwiko A Sealing Cement designed for use with sealing fittings and hubs to restrict the passage of gases and explosions in conduit systems.This sealing cement is a specially formulated water-soluble powder that, when mixed and poured, hardens to contain and restrict gases and explosions in classified areas. It includes fiber filler to create dams around conductors, preventing leakage of the sealing compound during application. The product comes in an 80 oz tin container and has a set volume of 115 cubic inches. It is rated for ordinary (unclassified) locations and complies with NEC/CEC certifications.
