This Mersen Amp-Trap® fuse features a 4-second minimum time delay, current limiting design, and blade-stamped catalog number for permanent identification. Its glass melamine body and plated terminals ensure durability in harsh environments. The A4BY400 is UL Class L rated, with a 200,000A AC interrupting rating and 100,000A DC interrupting rating. Unique dimensions prevent replacement by other fuse classes, and the device is 100% rated for continuous current up to its ampere rating. It is UL listed to standard 248-10 and CSA certified to C22.2 No. 248.10.
