A480R24R-1 is a 450 amp, 4800VAC R-Rated medium voltage fuse designed for motor and motor controller protection.This Mersen fuse features a 24R design with ferrule mounting and a visual indicator for easy status monitoring. It is a current-limiting, high interrupting rating fuse intended as a back-up fuse coordinated with overload relays in combination motor starters. The fuse body is made of epoxy and mounts in spring reinforced clips. It is suitable for 50/60 Hz AC applications and has a maximum interrupting rating of 64 kA.
