Return & Exchange Policy
At EssentialParts.com, our goal is to make sure you’re confident in your purchase. If a return or exchange is needed, the following policy outlines the conditions and procedures required to ensure timely and fair processing.
General Return Eligibility

Returns or exchanges must be requested within 30 days of shipping.

A restocking fee of up to 35% may apply to all approved returns.

No returns are accepted after the 30-day window unless explicitly authorized in writing.

Items that have been used, installed, energized, or tested are not eligible for return.

All returned items must be in original, unused condition and include the factory box.
Any claims related to shipping damage or missing items must be reported within FIVE (5) business days of delivery.
Return Authorization (RA) Requirement
All returns require a Return Authorization (RA) number issued by EssentialParts.com prior to shipment.

The RA number must be clearly marked on the outside of the return package and included with a copy of the original invoice or sales receipt.
RA numbers are valid for 15 days from the date of issuance. Returns received after expiration or without a visible RA number may be delayed or refused.
Conditions for Accepted Returns
EssentialParts.com reserves the right to deny any return or exchange if the following conditions are not met:

Product and packaging arrive undamaged and in like-new condition

All original components, manuals, accessories, and inserts are included

The factory box is intact and included

The item matches the condition in which it was originally shipped
Returns will not be accepted based on manufacture date, cosmetic appearance, or packaging wear, provided the product is otherwise new and unused.
Inspection & Refund Processing
All refunds are issued only after receipt, inspection, and testing (when applicable) of the returned item.

Authorized returns approved outside the standard 30-day window may be subject to a restocking fee of up to 50%, or may be deemed non-returnable.

Refund eligibility is void if the product has been electrically energized or tested.
Return Shipping Responsibility
Customers are responsible for all return shipping costs for non-warranty returns.
Returned items must be shipped using a reliable, trackable carrier. EssentialParts.com is not responsible for:

Lost packages

Shipping damage caused by inadequate packaging
Please pack all returns securely to prevent transit damage.

An RA number must be issued before returning any item. Items returned without authorization will not be processed.
Exception – Open Hardware Kits
Hardware kits must remain sealed, including internal packaging, until you are certain the item is needed. Opened hardware are not eligible for return.
Manufacturer-Specific Restrictions
Hammond Transformers (Hammond Power Solutions)
All Hammond Transformer products are Non-Cancellable and Non-Returnable (NCNR). These items are built or processed per order based on manufacturer requirements and cannot be canceled or returned under any circumstances.
Essential Parts Warranty & Returns Policy
General Warranty Coverage
Products purchased from EssentialParts.com may not qualify for the original manufacturer’s warranty, as EssentialParts.com is not an authorized distributor of surplus or discontinued inventory. Instead, all eligible products are protected under Essential Parts’ own Two-Year Limited Warranty, subject to the terms outlined below.
New & Surplus Products Warranty

Warranty Term
EssentialParts.com warrants that all products sold under a specific sales order (“Products”) will be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of two (2) years from the invoice date (“Warranty Period”), provided the Products are stored, installed, and operated under normal and intended conditions. -
Warranty Provider
This warranty is issued exclusively by EssentialParts.com and not by the original manufacturer. All warranties are non-transferable unless prior written approval is obtained from EssentialParts.com. -
Submitting a Warranty Claim

Return Authorization Requirement
All approved warranty claims require a Return Authorization (RA) number. Returns received without a valid RA will not be accepted or processed. -
Shipping Costs
Customers are responsible for all freight, expedited shipping, and rush service fees associated with warranty returns. -
Remedy
EssentialParts.com’s sole obligation under this warranty is, at its discretion, to repair or replace the defective Product or applicable component at no charge. If repair or replacement is not feasible, EssentialParts.com may issue a credit or refund equal to the original purchase price of the Product. -
Timing Requirements
Warranty claims and returned Products must be received before the expiration of the Warranty Period and must clearly reference the assigned RA number. -
Limitation of Liability
This warranty replaces all other express or implied warranties. EssentialParts.com specifically disclaims any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. Liability is strictly limited to the purchase price paid for the Product. Under no circumstances shall EssentialParts.com be responsible for incidental, consequential, or special damages, including lost profits or lost revenue.
EssentialParts.com does not provide, source, install, or license firmware and makes no representation regarding a customer’s rights to obtain or use firmware from the manufacturer or third parties. Customers are solely responsible for compliance with all applicable End-User License Agreements (EULAs) and software licensing terms.
Warranty for Repaired Products
Products repaired by EssentialParts.com may not be covered by any manufacturer repair warranty. However, repaired items are eligible for coverage under Essential Parts’ Two-Year Repair Warranty, as follows:

Repair Warranty Term
Components repaired under a specific repair order (“Repaired Products”) are warranted against defects in materials and workmanship for two (2) years from the invoice date, assuming normal use and operating conditions. -
Warranty Provider & Transferability
This repair warranty is provided solely by EssentialParts.com and is non-transferable without written consent. -
Repair Warranty Claims
Warranty claims for repaired items must be submitted via email or phone using the contact information above. -
Return Authorization
An RA number is required for all repair warranty returns. Items received without authorization will be refused. -
Shipping Costs
Customers remain responsible for freight and expedited service charges related to warranty returns. -
Remedy for Repaired Products
EssentialParts.com may, at its sole discretion, repair or replace the Repaired Product at no cost. If neither option is viable, a credit equal to the repair service fee paid may be issued. -
Claim Deadline
All repair warranty claims must be submitted, and the product returned, within the applicable Warranty Period and include the assigned RA number. -
Exclusions
This repair warranty does not apply to products previously serviced under a warranty claim for new or surplus goods. -
Limitation of Liability
This warranty supersedes all other warranties, express or implied. Liability is limited to the amount paid for the repair service. EssentialParts.com is not liable for incidental, consequential, or indirect damages of any kind.
