A332LSIG is a General Electric MicroVersaTrip trip unit designed for molded case circuit breakers with advanced digital, solid-state RMS sensing technology. This field-installable trip unit features front-mounted rating plugs for establishing or changing breaker ampere ratings, adjustable instantaneous with tracking short-time capability, and digital sampling to accurately determine RMS values of sinusoidal and nonsinusoidal currents. The unit is engineered for maximum breaker-to-breaker selectivity and custom load protection, with short-time and ground fault functions offering flexible coordination options. It accommodates variable speed drives, rectifiers, induction heating, and other loads causing high harmonic distortion while maintaining standard circuit protection.
