970G is a Condulet Form 7 wedge nut cover with integral gasket for conduit outlet bodies. 970G is designed for 3-1/2" or 4" conduit applications and provides NEMA 3R raintight protection when installed with cover and gasket on conduit outlet bodies. The cover features sheet steel construction and self-retaining wedge nut design for secure installation. Form 7 Condulet outlet bodies approach conduit in size for neat, compact installations and are commonly used to connect conduit sections, provide taps for branch conduit runs, and make 90° bends in conduit runs.
