8RBA2-INH is an Eaton RBA expulsion fuse holder designed for use with Type RBA expulsion fuses in indoor applications.

This refillable boric acid fuse holder features a spring and shunt assembly for reliable fault interruption. The unit uses boric acid as the interrupting medium, which decomposes under fault conditions to interrupt the circuit. RBA type indoor expulsion fuses are fitted with a discharge filter or condenser that moderates exhaust discharge, limits gas output to a small and relatively inert amount, and reduces noise levels without affecting the fuse interrupting rating. The modular design allows for easy current rating changes by simply replacing the refill unit.
