8736SBO4V02S is a Schneider Electric NEMA Size 0 reversing motor starter designed for full voltage starting, stopping, and reversing of 3-phase AC squirrel cage motors.This 3 pole motor starter features an 18 ampere rating, 600 VAC maximum voltage, and a horizontal mounting orientation. It supports motor horsepower ratings of 3 HP at 200 and 230 VAC, and 5 HP at 460 and 575 VAC. The starter includes a melting alloy thermal overload relay with Type B thermal units for overcurrent protection and has a short circuit current rating (SCCR) of 5 kA per UL508A when properly protected. The coil operates at 110/120 VAC 50/60 Hz and the unit is UL listed and CSA certified. This open-style reversing starter consists of two mechanically and electrically interlocked contactors and is part of the Class 8736 Type S series.
