8536SAG12V06 is a Square D Class 8536 motor starter designed for full voltage starting and stopping of AC squirrel cage motors.This 3 pole, non-reversing motor starter features a 9 ampere rating and operates at voltages up to 600V AC. It is housed in a painted sheet steel NEMA 1 general purpose enclosure sized at 10 x 6.0 x 5.56 inches. The starter includes a melting alloy type overload relay with Type B thermal units for overcurrent sensing and has a short circuit current rating (SCCR) of 5 kA per UL508A when protected by appropriate circuit breakers or fuses. The coil is rated for 440/480 VAC at 50/60 Hz and wired for common control. This NEMA Size 00 starter supports motor horsepower ratings of 1.5 HP at 220-230 VAC and 2 HP at 460-575 VAC. It is UL listed and CSA certified.
