7796 is an explosionproof instrument housing from Adalet's medium XIH series, designed for hazardous locations requiring corrosion resistance and safety.This housing features a 3-3/16 inch internal diameter, copper free aluminum construction, and a corrosion resistant polyester powder coating. It includes four interior mounting bosses oriented at 45 degrees on a 2-1/2 inch bolt circle, 1/2 inch or 3/4 inch NPT conduit hubs offset for clearance, internal and external grounding screws, and tamper resistant cover set screws. Optional glass cover models have a tempered glass window for local readout. The Buna-Nitrile rubber gasket ensures NEMA Type 4X watertight protection. Stainless steel hardware enhances durability.
