5BCLS-44R is an Eaton Bussmann series Class R fuse designed for medium voltage motor circuit protection.
This cartridge fuse features an 800 ampere current rating and a voltage rating of 4.8 kV AC. It is a single barrel, bolt-in type fuse with a current-limiting design suitable for motor start and backup short-circuit protection. The fuse has an interrupting rating of 36 kA symmetrical and complies with Eaton's BCLS series specifications. It is not UL recognized and does not comply with ANSI C37.46 for "R" rating.
