This connector is made of high conductivity copper and is engineered for direct burial, providing a safe and efficient alternative to exothermic welding products. It accommodates cable ranges from 3/0 AWG stranded to 250 kcmil for the tap, and 1/0 AWG stranded to 250 kcmil for the main conductor. It fits ground rods sized from 1/2 inch to 5/8 inch and is shaped in the Figure 6 style for reliable mechanical and electrical connection.
