5259 is a 3 inch, 90 degree, non-insulated liquidtight conduit connector made of malleable iron by Thomas & Betts.
This conduit fitting is designed for use with liquid tight flexible metal conduits in indoor or outdoor locations exposed to continuous or intermittent moisture. It features a chromate coated/electro-zinc plated finish for corrosion resistance and meets UL 514B and CSA C22.2 No. 18.3 standards. The connector provides a positive bond between conduit and box or enclosure and installs quickly with low torque effort. It is part of the 52 Series and has a 1 inch long NPT thread.
