3RT1044-1AM20 is a Siemens Sirius line IEC contactor rated for 65 AMPS AC-3 duty and 100 AMPS AC-1 duty with a 208V 50/60Hz AC operating coil. This Size S3 frame contactor is designed for three-phase motor control applications up to 25 horsepower at 230 volts and 50 horsepower at 460 volts. The contactor features screw terminals and can be mounted on standard 35mm DIN rail or directly screwed to a panel or mounting plate. It conforms to IEC 60947 and EN 60947 (VDE 0660) standards with UL 508 certification. Optional auxiliary contact blocks, thermal overload relays, and solid-state overload protection can be added for comprehensive motor starter protection. The contactor operates in both AC and DC applications and is suitable for industrial motor control, HVAC systems, and general switching applications requiring reliable three-phase control.
