379-TB is a 4 inch insulated bullet hub connector designed for use with rigid and IMC conduit systems.379-TB features a tapered internal thread for watertight and dusttight connections, with threads relieved to prevent conduit bottoming and ensure secure assembly. It includes a recessed sealing ring captivated at the box end and a nylon insulated throat to protect conductors from abrasion and reduce wire pull effort. The connector is electro-zinc plated malleable iron, rated for 105 degrees Celsius, and provides rain tight, watertight, and dusttight performance when used with a neoprene o-ring. Hardened steel locknuts ensure high-quality ground continuity and accommodate thin box walls up to 1/2 inch thick.
