140M-C2E-B40 is an Allen-Bradley motor protection circuit breaker designed for adjustable thermal overload protection in motor control applications.

This C-frame MPCB features an adjustable thermal current range of 2.5 to 4 amperes with a supply voltage of 480V, 60 Hz and a maximum fault current rating of 100 kA. The unit includes a fixed magnetic release set at 13 times the thermal overload trip current, DIN rail mounting, and rotary operation. It provides visible trip indication with ergonomic handle differentiation between short circuit and overload tripping for rapid fault identification. The device is equipped with a jump mechanism for fast contact opening and closing, ambient temperature compensation from -20 to +60°C, and phase loss protection. It meets IEC947-2 disconnector approval and IEC204-1 main switch/emergency off approval standards.
